I recalled back when I first joined the financial advisory industry ( Tied Agency )
like many we bought into the dream of giving our family a good life while also being able to make an impact in the life of others.
During my initial years I worked hard and was as diligent as I could be but I just couldn't seem to do as well as I wanted â areas I struggled in was anywhere from prospecting, to presenting, to closing.
Though over time I had clinched multiple accolades like top 15 estate planners in singapore, my insurance production was low.
To help myself, I even signed up a $17K personal development course I couldnât afford ( which I paid in instalment ) in hope for a career breakthrough.
In moments like these, though I was told I would get all the help I needed ( but didn't ) â I'd often end up blaming myself.
đ˘ I blamed myself for not being able to learn fast, to present better, to prospect better.
đ˘ I felt like I was pacing on the same spot, not making much progress despite doing my very best.
đ˘ The weight of all of it of course was further amplified because I had a family to provide for.
